Senior Executive (Design)
About the Role:An Interior Designer with 2-4 years of experience post-graduation to focus on workplace and commercial interiors for a growing, diverse client base. In this position, you will join a highly creative, collaborative, and nimble team dedicated to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate on corporate interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development
- Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents
- Learn to resolve complex technical and design issues
- Participate in selection of furniture systems and specifications
- Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction to meet overall project objectives
- Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples
- Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
- Takes work seriously with a “there’s always a solution” mindset and healthy sense of humour.
- Utilize 3D rendering software to communicate design concept
- Work as a team with the Designers, Workspace Managers and Facilities Managers
- Smart, persuasive and contributes to projects when needed
- Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs
- Diploma in Interior Design or Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design
- 2 – 4 years design experience in corporate interior and hospitality projects. Retail and residential experience also will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, colour and materials
- Outstanding graphic presentation skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and 3ds Max
- Good team player, resourceful, independent and possess strong interpersonal skills
- Helpful personality with a pleasant disposition, positive work attitude and client oriented
- Able to travel
