The company begins life as JustOffice in a 3,132 square feet service at Singapore’s Samsung Hub.
JustOffice opens in Singapore’s Asia Square. By the end of 2014, JustOffice is located in 4 centres.
Series A S$8 million funding secured from Pinetree Capital Partners Pte Ltd and Tikehau Investment Management Asia Pte Ltd.
JustOffice expands out of Singapore with its first international location in Shanghai’s prime Raffles City Changning. By the end of the year, there are 8 JustOffice centres in Singapore and Shanghai.
To meet the increasing demand for co-working and shared workspaces, JustOffice is rebranded to JustCo, as membership grows to 20,000 users in a network of diverse businesses. Shared workspaces become communities where members thrive on exchange and help each other succeed.
Series B US$12 million funding secured from Sansiri Public Company Limited and a Joint Venture is formed with Gunung Sewu group. JustCo opens new centres in Bangkok and Jakarta, in addition to Singapore and Shanghai. There are now 11 JustCo centres open.
Series C US$177 million funding secured from the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) and Frasers Property Group. By the end of the year, JustCo has 23 centres open in Singapore, Shanghai, Bangkok and Jakarta, with further centres lined up.
JustCo has 38 centres across Singapore, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta and now Melbourne, Seoul, Sydney and Taipei.The company begins plans to enter Japan with the successful raising of Series D US$177 million funding from Daito Trust Construction Co. Ltd.
JustCo sets up property technology subsidiary REinvent Ventures Pte Ltd and launches the Digital Future of Work platform with Switch, the world’s first “workspace on demand” platform.By the end of the year, JustCo operates 42 centres in Singapore, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Melbourne, Seoul, Sydney, Taipei and Tokyo, with over 100,000 members in its network.
JustCo is named Asia’s Top Employer Brand (Co-working Industry) by Influential Brands.JustCo now enjoys presence in 10 markets, including Singapore, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Melbourne, Seoul, Sydney, Taipei, Tokyo and Hsinchu.
Singapore President, Her Excellency Halimah Yacob, visits the JustCo centre at Seoul Finance Centre in May. Later that month, the new JustCo centre at Shibuya Hikarie welcomes the Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and other dignitaries.
