JustCo Officially Launches First Coworking Centre in the Financial Hub of Seoul, Myeongdong
Located at Ferrum Tower, the two-storey workspace is expected to housemore than 500 members
Asia’s leading premium flexible workspace provider JustCo, is tripling its regional footprint in Asia Pacific within a year to more than 140,000 square metres by the first half of 2019, with a new city entry in Seoul, South Korea this April. Situated within Seoul’s financial hub and a bustling tourist hotspot Myeongdong, JustCo at Ferrum Tower spreads across 2,100 square metres and occupies two levels of the building. The co-working space is also conveniently accessible by the nearby Euljiro 1-ga Subway Station Line 2.
Following the successful launch of the first centre at Ferrum Tower, JustCo’s total portfolio has surpassed 30 locations across eight cities in Asia, which includes Singapore, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Sydney, Melbourne, Seoul and Taipei. To add on, JustCo Seoul will open its second centre in May 2019 at Seoul Finance Centre. This series of consecutive launches speak volumes of the increasing demand for shared workspaces and the gap in the market.
Headquartered in Singapore, JustCo is backed by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC, and multi-national property company, Frasers Property Limited with a joint investment of US$177 million. Prior to that, JustCo also secured partnerships with well-known conglomerates like Sansiri in Thailand, as well as Gunung Sewu in Indonesia.
“Over the recent years, we have seen a demand surge in Seoul’s flexible workspaces. Our strategic partnerships with key investors have allowed us to gain a stronger foothold when entering new markets and to potentially secure new leases within iconic buildings in prime locations. For instance, Seoul Finance Centre is the first project we are launching in a building owned and managed by one of our investors, GIC, and we are humbled to receive their full support”, says KONG Wan Sing, Founder and CEO at JustCo.
JustCo members will not only benefit from the regional community, but also get to enjoy the flexibility and convenience of working from another JustCo centre located in other major Asian cities – with options to tap into a larger network for more collaboration and networking opportunities across various markets.
In addition, members can fully harness the effect of co-working by attending various professional and lifestyle events held at JustCo. Key facilities of the space include an in-house café, hot-desking areas, private office suites, meeting rooms, games corner, spacious collaborative areas and more.
