JustCo Cares: Mask Donation Drive
Thank You to the JustCo Network for Making This Experience Extra Meaningful
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit hard on every country and reshaped everyone’s life in many different ways. In June 2020, while Singapore prepared itself to exit its Circuit Breaker measures and adapt to the new normal, JustCo, a homegrown company launched the ‘JustCo Cares’ social responsibility campaign, in a bid to protect the safety and well-being of the communities within and around it.
As a Singapore coworking company that has community engagement at the heart of its business, JustCo initiated a mask donation drive to distribute 100,000 surgical-grade masks to JustCo members and staff, tenants within buildings that JustCo has presence in, as well as charity organizations.
Approximately 70,000 masks were distributed to 11 charity organisations in Singapore, benefitting vulnerable groups including underprivileged children, individuals with life-limiting illnesses, needy elderly, disadvantaged families, and more. With a ‘community-first’ philosophy, JustCo called for charity nominations from JustCo members and the public, with an intention to fulfil the beliefs of the JustCo network and extend the circle of care to the larger community. The 11 charity beneficiaries are Children Wishing Well , Dover Park Hospice, HCA Hospice Care, Hope House, MINDS, National Kidney Foundation, National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, PRETAPIS, Red Cross, Touch Community, and Willing Hearts. Many of these charity organisations have expressed their gratitude for this thoughtful gesture during this crucial period.
The remaining 30,000 masks were distributed to the communities around JustCo, include JustCo members, staff, and tenants of buildings that JustCo has presence in.
In this challenging time, the JustCo network had come together, united, and contributed to a common cause – making the ‘JustCo Cares’ mask donation drive a particularly meaningful exercise. In this challenging time, let’s not forget to provide support to each other, stay vigilant, and together we shall prevail!
