JustCo takes care of its staff, members, and community at large by giving out free surgical-grade masks via the ‘JustCo Cares’ social responsibility campaign
| June 2020 |
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted and reshaped how people work and live across the globe. As companies and businesses returned to work after Singapore’s Circuit Breaker, JustCo – Asia Pacific’s leading co-working space company, has stepped up to support the recovery of its members’ business operations, and aims to safeguard the well-being and safety of the communities within and around JustCo.
Through its social responsibility campaign ‘JustCo Cares’, JustCo will give out 100,000 certified surgical-grade face masks to staff, members and its surrounding communities upon their return to work. Safeguarding not only the community within JustCo, JustCo also aims to safeguard the well-being of the communities around it. In this spirit, free masks will be given out at buildings where JustCo has presence in, extending the circle of care to the building tenants.
The remaining face masks will be donated to charities for a good cause. Over a period of four weeks, JustCo will invite its members and general public to nominate their choice of charity via the J-App, JustCo website and social media. Free masks will be donated to the charity organisations based on a first-come-first-served basis.
These 100,000 face masks are part of JustCo’s sponsorship towards Singapore’s first fully automated mask manufacturing line, led by Razer. The surgical-grade masks are designed triple-layered to protect the wearer against pathogens, and are produced by Razer Health, an entity licensed by the Health Sciences Authority of Singapore (HSA).

To ensure staff and members come back to a safe and productive workplace after the Circuit Breaker, enhanced and stringent safety measures are put in place at all JustCo centres. For example, contact tracing at JustCo will be a secured and seamless process as members and guests will be required to adhere to the national digital SafeEntry check-in. Other necessary health declaration and temperature recording will be done digitally via the J-App or an online platform. Members will also be encouraged to download the Singapore government’s TraceTogether app for easier contact tracing.
Social distancing measures will be implemented through furniture reconfiguration in common areas and placing of prominent safe distancing signages. There will also be contactless thermometers and hand sanitizers free for members and guests to use.
To further support the business development activities of its members, virtual events are set up for product and service showcases. Consultation sessions on crisis management and business innovation are also available for business owners and entrepreneurs. JustCo members can utilise the JustConnect feature in J-App to reach out to other members for collaboration opportunities. Members are also invited to promote their businesses using JustCo’s various platforms in the centres and virtually.
JustCo steps up to support its staff, members and the community at large while implementing robust measures to ensure a safe and productive work environment. JustCo looks forward to welcoming its members and partners back to Make Work Better, Together!
