Bangkok, Thailand, 28 Feb, 2024
JustCo’s inaugural Future of Work Forum, held today at their newly launched OCC (One City Centre) premises in Bangkok, gathered business leaders and industry experts to explore futureproof hybrid work solutions. The informative forum offered key insights on implementing effective flexible hybrid models catering to the needs of all generations of professionals and the importance of designing offices for employee well-being.

The inaugural JustCo Future of Work Forum explored the pertinent issues in the hybrid work era, sustainable solutions that could better equip the future workforce and the importance. The first panel of the forum, “Bridging the Gap: Gen Z, Technology, and the Rise of Hybrid Work,” delved into how businesses can seamlessly integrate the preferences of younger generations into flexible working models. Industry leaders, comprising Joy Lertpitakkit, Vice President and Head of JustCo Thailand, Chikit Cheong, CEO of FastWork, Stuart Jay Raj, Managing Director (Thailand) at NFQ, and Chutipat Tangkusonchit, CEO of Gadgetstory Co., Ltd., discussed the need to leverage technology and workspace design to foster collaboration and build engaging work environments that connect workers of all generations.

“Human connections matter more than ever in the hybrid work era, as businesses emerging from the pandemic navigate the search for the best hybrid work models and flexible workspace solutions that engage employees of diverse backgrounds and ages. With increased emphasis on work-life balance facilitated by hybrid work, the importance of fostering meaningful connections within the workplace has never been greater. As Asia’s leading coworking provider, we are proud to shape the future of work through creating purpose-built spaces that support all work styles and hold forums that foster meaningful dialogues,” said Joy.

The second panel of the forum, “Beyond Aesthetics: Design and Wellness at the Workplace,” focused on the critical role of workspace design in employee well-being. Panelists comprising of Korn Narongdej, CEO, RML or (Raimon Land PCL.), Tarida Klaipracha, CEO, Kokuyo International (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. and Faye Pongsomboon, Co-founder & Business Development, Creative Director, YAAF Design discussed how to create workspaces that promote health, encourage collaboration, and support different working styles, fostering a thriving and engaged workforce in the hybrid era. These insightful discussions provided valuable takeaways for businesses seeking to optimise their work environments and cultivate a future-proof culture that caters to all generations.

Korn Narondej, CEO of RML (Raimon Land PLC), Thailand’s leading developer of luxury and ultra-luxury real estate, said “At present, people prioritise workplaces that promote well-being, which include technology that addresses both comfort and health concerns. This includes technologies such as touchless systems, MERV 14 air filtration that tackles PM 2.5 dust, and comprehensive amenities are also important. Located in the heart of the CBD, it offers convenient access to public transport and private vehicles. Also, it is a flexible space that caters to hybrid working trends and the lifestyle of the new generation, emphasising sustainability with LEED and Fitwel certifications. Green spaces and hangout areas with shops, restaurants, bars, and cafés provide a relaxing environment for employees to meet up and socialise after work, creating a balance between relaxation and productive work.”
